Kinderinsel e.V. Childcare

We are a small, idyllic island in the middle of Munich. Children from 1 – 6 years are lovingly and individually cared for in the kindergarten and crèche. Our large garden offers plenty of space to play, run around and explore nature. Our children’s island is located between the former Kulturfabrik and Ostbahnhof – a small urban idyll in the middle of Munich.

Parents’ initiatives offer a high degree of co-determination. Parents, children and caregivers benefit from democratic cooperation. There is intensive contact between the parents and the supervisors. The groups are smaller and the childcare ratio is much better. Elterninis are flexible, innovative and tailored to needs. In the meantime, the children of former children are already coming back to us. We are very happy to see new faces!
