Would you like to take photos or make a movie in Werksviertel-Mitte? We will be happy to issue you with a permit.
The Werksviertel-Mitte is a private area with public access. For this reason, you need written permission in advance for all photography, filming and promotions on our premises. Please fill out our online form for your film/photo/drone request in as much detail as possible.
Please note that the processing time for photo and filming permits can take up to ten days due to the large number of actors on the site. We ask you to submit your application with sufficient lead time. We will check your request and contact you promptly.
We make a fundamental distinction between commercial and editorial photography and filming. Drone recordings require a special security check.
We consider commercial to be all requests that reflect business interests in the case of publication, sales, advertising and the like. For these productions and/or extensive filming, costs are incurred for the actual filming as well as the motif fee. These are declared as follows (as of 2023)
- 1/2 day (up to four hours) 1,500 euros
- 1 day (up to eight hours) 3,000 euros
- Each additional hour á 250 euros
- In addition to the motif fee depending on the reach (regional, international,…) from 500 euros
Editorial photos are based on public interest in the context of reporting on the Werksviertel-Mitte. A photo and filming permit is also required for this. However, there are no costs. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Spontaneous snapshots (without a tripod) for private purposes only are at the discretion of our grounds staff, but will not normally be objected to.
