How to Make a Dried Flower Ring Wood/Metal Base

In this workshop, you’ll create your own flower ring—a decorative accent for your wall or door. We’ll show you, step by step, a binding technique that lets you securely attach flowers and greenery to the wooden ring. Afterward, you’ll put together your own color combinations and decorate the ring according to your personal style.

You’ll have a wide selection of dried flowers, foliage, and—depending on the season—fresh flowers to choose from. You decide whether your ring will be covered halfway, three-quarters of the way, or completely with flowers. Using binding wire and garden shears, you’ll work like the pros and also choose from a variety of decorative and gift ribbons to add the finishing touches to your creation. Our expert will guide you through the process and offer tips on combinations and longevity.
