Tame The Abyss don’t want to limit themselves to a single genre; instead, they combine a wide variety of rock styles—such as hard rock, classic rock, alternative, prog, and stoner—into a highly infectious, kick-ass sound. It’s a mix of styles that, while not exactly reinventing the musical wheel, does allow the band to perform with a bit more elegance than the competition, as frontman Georg Raig explains with a smile. Instead of striking vain poses, Tame The Abyss blend technical finesse on stage with a clearly visible and audible joy of playing—along with their penchant for trashy B-movie clichés—to create an exciting and absolutely unique experience.
