Help for Lebanon - Together we can make a difference!

Our colleague Pauline Miller works for Werksviertel-Mitte as part of the management team. She is deeply affected by the current events in Lebanon, where some of her family and many friends live. The country, which was once full of beauty, has been suffering from misery and war for decades. The recent bombings have had a devastating impact on the civilian population: people are losing their homes, families are being torn apart, and particularly vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly and the sick are struggling to survive.

Pauline’s father gives an urgent account of the situation: “Last Friday’s bombing was like an earthquake in Beirut. Many houses were shaken and people are sleeping on the streets – homeless and without food.” We are shocked by this suffering. But together we can make a difference! Every donation, no matter how small, can help to improve the lives of people in Lebanon.

The Foundation in Werksviertel-Mitte supports this humanitarian aid campaign out of the deepest conviction. We have chosen the Lebanese Red Cross and the Children’s Cancer Center Lebanon as the main recipients of the donations.

The Lebanese Red Cross not only provides medical aid, but also supports the community. Their reliability and honesty make them a trustworthy partner. More information here.

The Children’s Cancer Center Lebanon provides free treatment services for children with cancer who have fled the south due to the war. The vital treatments must not be interrupted, regardless of the circumstances. Find out more.

100 percent of the donations go directly to those affected – the administrative costs are borne by the foundation. The contact person is Managing Director Isabell Zacharias.

We ask for your support! Together we can alleviate the suffering and give hope. Every contribution counts!

Thank you very much!

With best regards
