Live on stage starting at 8:00 p.m.:
HANK DAVISON & FRIENDS—old-school folk rock & country blues
Campfires, motorcycles, a good swig of whiskey, and plenty of rock & roll—that’s the world of Hank Davison.
The charismatic singer with the impressive voice looks back on a long and fulfilling career on stage. He made his first appearances with a guitar in 1967, formed his first band in 1972, and recorded his first albums in 1977.
In 1987, he founded the Hank Davison Band specifically for the motorcycle scene. The success was enormous. For over twenty years, the biker band could be seen at nearly every major motorcycle rally around the world. Tens of thousands of fans and bikers celebrated “their” band every weekend.
Renowned musicians such as Dickie Peterson (Blue Cheer), Alvin Lee (Ten Years After), Bobby Kimball (Toto), Glenn Hughes
(Deep Purple), and Fito de la Parra (Canned Heat) performed as guests with the Hank Davison Band. Despite several
lucrative offers from the record industry, a successful deal was never reached. The singer and bandleader was also rarely willing to give interviews to newspapers, magazines, or radio/TV. Hank categorically rejected anything that might change his band even in the slightest.
In Hank Davison & Friends, Hank is accompanied by Lewis “the prince of blues harp” Glover (harmonica, vocals),
a gifted blues harpist with whom Hank has been performing on stage since 1993. With Johnny O’Hara (guitar, vocals), the two thoroughbred musicians have found a fellow musician who blends seamlessly into their sound.
After the concert, the party continues with a killer DJ set, cool drinks at the bar (plenty of Jack Daniels specials), and a sizzling midnight show to feast your eyes on 🔥
