ECKhaus
The ECKhaus is one of the surviving buildings from the Pfanni era and the last one to be built at that time. Today, it serves as an office building and houses the unique Pfanni Museum. A testament to the industrial past, brought to life for the future.
Six stories tall, with a distinctive rectangular shape that gives it its name and a gray-brown facade modeled after the color of potato skins: this is the ECKhaus, located at the entrance to Werksviertel-Mitte. Today, it serves as an office building, primarily housing many of the companies that manage the operations of the Werksviertel-Mitte district.
The Pfanni Museum is located in the foyer of the ECKhaus. Through pictures, exhibits, and videos, it tells the fascinating story of Pfanni-Werke, one of the best-known German food brands of the 20th century—and illustrates the origins of today’s Werksviertel-Mitte.
