Old meets new: the Werksviertel-Mitte philosophy is also continued in WERK13.
WERK13 combines not only loft offices with room heights of up to 5.75 meters and galleries, but also commercial space for retail and gastronomy, as well as studios and workshops that continue the industrial and artisanal context of the site. The special highlight of WERK13, however, is the integration of the Technikum – a music stage and event space – into the existing building. The variety of functions in turn ensures a strong social mix. The Werksviertel-Mitte sees itself as an open urban space, a place of encounter and exchange, with offers for everyone. The concept of WERK13 implements this idea in an exemplary manner.
Externally, WERK7 and WERK13 are perceived as an overall ensemble. For example, a green illuminated ridge turret holds the two buildings together like a brace, as do the corrugated sheet metal elements in the façades. The first tenants moved into WERK13 at the beginning of 2024.
