ECKhaus
The ECKhaus is the last building to be erected in the Werksviertel-Mitte during the Pfanni era. Today it serves as an office building and houses the unique Pfanni Museum.
Six storeys high, a rectangular shape that gives it its name and a grey-brown façade, the color of which is based on the shells of potatoes: this is the ECKhaus at the entrance to Werksviertel-Mitte. It is now used as an office building, primarily housing many of the companies that organize the operation of the Werksviertel-Mitte district.
The foyer of the ECKhaus also houses the small Pfanni Museum, also known as the Potato Museum, which tells the story and development of the food producer Pfanni with numerous pictures, exhibits and videos and illustrates the development of the area into today’s Werksviertel-Mitte.
